Responsibilities
- Workflow enhancement and automation: Streamline and automate processes using solutions such as ERP enhancements, integration platforms, RPA, and AI-powered tools to improve scalability and accuracy.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Finance, Technology, and other teams to implement transformation projects. Support training and change management for adoption of new processes.
- Process analysis and documentation: Document and analyze current-state finance workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and visualize future-state processes.
- Performance measurement and insights: Help define and track KPIs that measure the impact of process improvements and transformation efforts. Provide data-driven insights and ideas for continuous improvement.
- Technology and tool effectiveness: Evaluate finance systems and tools to support data visibility and efficient operations.
Requirements
- Fluent in written and verbal English, with the ability to partner effectively across distributed teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a quantitative field.
- 2+ years of accounting, finance, or transformation-related experience, ideally within a technology company or multinational shared-services hub.
- Interest in or exposure to business process analysis, including understanding how finance workflows connect and where friction occurs.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, plus familiarity with Microsoft or Google Workspace tools.
- Familiarity with financial ecosystems such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday, and modern data architecture such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with, or ability to quickly learn, automation, ETL, and BI tools such as Workato, UiPath, Alteryx, Hex, or ThoughtSpot.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and build practical solutions.
- Ability to use SQL or Python to extract data, audit workflows, and build insights independently.
- Experimental mindset and interest in applying emerging technologies such as AI and predictive analytics to manual finance tasks.
- Ability to structure undefined or messy processes and build solutions from scratch.
- High operational standards and a preference for building working prototypes.
