About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth daily field operations by monitoring performance, creating and refining playbooks and SOPs, supporting workforce planning, overseeing aspects of contractor relationship management, and performing occasional quality checks in the field and depot.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify root causes of issues, using field operations insights and data to collaborate with teams, implement solutions, and drive performance improvements.
  • Own end-to-end processes such as invoicing and asset tracking.
  • Audit functional-area performance against SLAs, proactively identifying and escalating risks and inefficiencies.
  • Support relationships with city partners and address market-specific operational issues and special projects.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders, clients, and vendors, including during challenging conversations.
  • Manage shifting priorities effectively while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience overseeing operations in a complex, fast-moving, rapidly changing environment such as a distribution warehouse, marketplace, or delivery operation.
  • Experience using Google Sheets and other data analysis tools to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand the broader context of work.
  • Proven track record of data-based problem-solving and ability to think on your feet.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a warehouse or hands-on operations environment.
  • Strong interest in biking, bikeshare, sustainable transportation, and city planning.
  • Familiarity with AI tools to improve day-to-day productivity.

  • Expected base pay range in the Boston area: $66,240–$82,800.
