Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments applying scientific theories and principles.
- Independently complete a previously initiated study using multi-electrode recording.
- Perform electrophysiological recordings to study sensory coding and neural plasticity in the mammalian olfactory bulb.
- Conduct slice recordings and in vivo whole-animal recordings.
- Perform electrical recordings in response to optogenetic light stimulation.
- Maintain and update laboratory notebooks and databases.
- Analyze data associated with the multi-electrode project.
- Organize study data and assemble publication-ready figures.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations.
- Train and support staff in multi-electrode recording methods.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related discipline.
- Three years of experience.
- Background in Biology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong data presentation skills.

- Base salary: $120,000–$125,000 USD annually.
