Data Scientist, Growth
The Data Scientist will use experimentation, statistical inference, and data analysis to guide Growth strategy, define metrics, and evaluate product opportunities. The role partners with product, engineering, and marketing leaders and requires strong SQL plus Python or R skills.

Responsibilities
- Apply statistical inference and experimentation to assess the impact of product changes and inform decisions.
- Analyze ambiguous opportunities for the Growth organization and help shape strategy and roadmap.
- Partner with product, engineering, and marketing leaders throughout the development process.
- Define north-star and operational metrics.
- Build foundational datasets and dashboards to monitor progress and support decisions.
- Communicate findings across the company and drive product and business change.
Requirements
- Comfort working with ambiguity and focus on business results.
- Expertise in SQL and at least one scripting language, ideally Python or R.
- Experience using statistical inference and experimentation to produce actionable recommendations.
- Ability to transform raw data and build datasets when required metrics do not yet exist.
- Ability to select efficient tools and make tradeoffs between speed and accuracy.

Compensation
- Estimated base salary range for roles based in San Francisco: $145,000–$162,000 per year.
