Responsibilities
- Own line-setting strategy and projection accuracy for fantasy markets, balancing coverage breadth with competitive line quality.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts focused on market creation and prop origination.
- Oversee development and deployment of projection models and coverage expansion across major sports and esports, including NBA, NFL, MLB, and CS2.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Business Operations to launch new markets and expand coverage.
- Guide experimentation involving line accuracy, prop selection, and coverage strategy to increase engagement and grow the market catalog.
- Maintain and evolve frameworks for projection accuracy, coverage quality, and market-health monitoring.
- Ensure data integrity and modeling quality across origination efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sports betting, fantasy, or related gaming industries, ideally involving line setting, trading, or player-performance modeling.
- Strong technical foundation in data science, statistics, or software engineering.
- Demonstrated management experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-output teams.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
- Experience with predictive modeling, forecasting, and statistical techniques.
- Deep understanding of player props and the structure, origination, and modeling of sports and esports markets.
- Proven ability to drive complex projects from ideation through launch in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across data, product, and operations.
- Authorization to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

- Typical salary range: $160,000–$190,000 USD annually.
