Responsibilities
- Support the Trust & Safety team as the core technical data expert.
- Protect the platform, evaluate healthcare claims, and help ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review billing patterns, identify data anomalies, and deliver clear analytics to legal and compliance partners.
- Query large, complex datasets and apply medical coding frameworks.
- Build proactive models, risk-monitoring pipelines, compliance dashboards, and protective guardrails.
- Translate complex technical findings into clear risk assessments for non-technical leadership and legal partners.
- Audit data integrity and investigate discrepancies, gaps, and historical anomalies in complex data infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related professional experience in analytics, data science, or forensic data investigation.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
- Experience querying large datasets, building data logic, and identifying systemic anomalies.
- Expertise with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Hex, or Mode.
- Strong data storytelling skills.
- Experience translating technical data discoveries into risk assessments.
- Deep understanding of data integrity auditing practices.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in healthcare compliance, legal operations, or Trust & Safety, including fraud, waste, and abuse auditing.
- Familiarity with medical coding frameworks such as CPT, ICD-10, or HCPCS.
- Experience with healthcare claims data, billing records, or electronic health records.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Ability to connect analytics insights to corporate risk mitigation strategy and influence operational safeguards.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $166,000–$192,850.
- 100% remote work environment for employees based in the United States; Hawaii is currently excluded.
