Responsibilities
- Build full-stack data science solutions, including models that consume, transform, and expose data to stakeholders and production systems.
- Drive experimental design, testing agendas, and data science best practices.
- Influence the data team's processes, tools, and systems to enable scalable decision-making.
- Collaborate with Finance teams, including GTM Finance and StratFin, to develop financial insights and influence business decisions.
- Partner with data engineering teams to capture, move, store, and transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Work with business teams to turn insights into action.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in data science, software engineering, or finance.
- Strong AI proficiency and ability to quickly adopt new skills and subject matter.
- Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment focused on iterative technical solutions.
- Familiarity with financial metrics and processes, such as contribution profit, financial statements, and monthly close, and/or B2B enterprise sales-cycle metrics and processes.
- Strong SQL knowledge, preferably with Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, including writing efficient queries.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with the modern data stack, such as Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, or Hightouch.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Omni, Sigma, or Hex, and experience distributing insights through reports and dashboards.
- Strong intuition for business strategy and customer empathy, including ROI, growth channels, sales cycles, and customer incentives.
- Strong perspective on analytics engineering practices, including data modeling, version control, documentation, testing, and codebase development.
- Experience partnering with finance teams or working in payments and financial technology.

- Annual salary range: $137,120–$297,330.
