Responsibilities
- Solve real business needs at large scale through software engineering.
- Debug low-level systems, measure performance, and optimize large production clusters.
- Design architectures, influence product roadmaps, and own new projects.
- Introduce tools to improve service automation and operability.
- Prevent and investigate production issues.
- Plan and lead complex technical projects spanning multiple teams.
- Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers, leading sprint planning, delegating assignments, and participating in project planning.
Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience building and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
- Comfort working toward a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
- Motivation to deliver customer value and measurable impact.
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures, including their real-world applications.
- Experience driving company initiatives focused on customer satisfaction.
- BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
