Responsibilities
- Provide technical and people leadership to a team of Android engineers, owning planning, execution, and delivery of features and platform improvements.
- Conduct one-on-ones, provide feedback, support career growth, and foster an inclusive, psychologically safe, accountable team culture.
- Define priorities, technical roadmaps, and long-term platform investments aligned with business goals.
- Establish and maintain standards for code quality, testing, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and backend teams to scope features, assess feasibility, align priorities, and deliver initiatives.
- Make technical and architectural decisions informed by product and user-experience needs.
- Contribute to the Android codebase, review pull requests, troubleshoot complex bugs, and resolve architectural or project bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building native Android applications.
- 2+ years in an engineering management role developing high-performing mobile teams.
- Experience delivering complex mobile products with robust architecture and maintainable codebases.
- Strong time-management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with team capacity planning, backlog management, and translating goals into executable roadmaps.

- Salary range: $210,000–$280,000.
