Responsibilities
Serve as the technical customer advocate within Cloudflare
Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams
Create scalable solutions for customer needs
Obtain the technical win so customers choose Cloudflare solutions over competitors
Travel to customer offices, conferences, and deliver talks
Requirements
Passionate about technology with ability to explain complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms
Naturally curious and an avid builder willing to get hands dirty
Good fundamental understanding of how to obtain the technical win
Understanding of "how the internet works":
Differences between TCP & UDP and application use cases
Authoritative DNS vs recursive DNS
Role of firewalls and TLS/SSL
Solid understanding of HTTP and client/server quirks
Understanding of customer buying decisions and ROI explanation
Ability to manage projects, work to deadlines, and prioritize competing demands

Business fluency in German
Previous experience in pre-sales SE or consulting role
Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash)
Experience building or contributing to web applications
Knowledge of CSRF, XSS, and SQLi security vulnerabilities
