Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end indirect tax compliance, including filings, registrations, and remittances for global VAT/GST and U.S. sales and use tax.
Streamline tax workflows, leverage tax automation tools and AI, and enhance data governance to improve efficiency.
Develop and implement indirect tax strategies aligned with business growth, product offerings such as SaaS, AI services, and Sovereign AI, and international expansion.
Manage responses to tax audits and inquiries from authorities.
Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring alignment with global tax regulations and internal policies.
Address digital services taxes and electronic services implications.
Partner with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to assess tax impacts of new initiatives, contracts, and market entries.
Qualifications
3–5 years of indirect tax experience, including experience in multinational environments.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience in indirect tax.
Deep knowledge of U.S. and/or Canadian indirect tax laws and familiarity with global indirect tax regimes.
Prior experience in technology or SaaS.
Strong analytical ability to interpret tax regulations, model scenarios, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Demonstrated success managing projects in fast-paced, global settings.
