Staff Product Manager - Bits Release

Own the vision and roadmap for an agentic software release product that validates changes from pre-merge through production. The role requires 6+ years of product management experience, deep developer tooling or platform expertise, and experience shipping LLM or agentic products.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, narrative, and end-to-end roadmap for Bits Release, spanning pre-merge through continuous production validation.
  • Partner with customers, software engineers, and designers to create a trusted developer experience.
  • Drive packaging and pricing decisions with finance and product leadership.
  • Own agent quality, evaluations, reliability targets, and KPIs as the product scales.
  • Track the AI frontier and maintain strong technical judgment while staying close to customers.
  • Partner with product marketing, advocacy, and sales to take the product from preview to general availability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, or 4+ years with a deep technical background.
  • Meaningful experience with developer tools, CI/CD, observability, SRE, or platform products.
  • Experience shipping an LLM or agentic product, including evaluating and debugging nondeterministic systems and balancing cost, latency, and quality in production.
  • Daily use of AI coding agents and strong perspectives on the future of software release processes.
  • Deep familiarity with software development lifecycle practices, including pull request workflows, continuous integration, deployment strategies, and production signals.
  • Understanding of canary deployments, blue-green deployments, feature flags, progressive rollouts, traces, logs, RUM, synthetics, and error tracking.
  • Exceptional writing and speaking skills, including communication with executive audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background as a software engineer, SRE, or platform engineer.
  • Experience with sandboxed code execution, test generation, or replay systems.
  • Exposure to product analytics, session replays, APM, or RUM.
