Staff Product Manager, Platform & Infrastructure
Own the cloud platform, infrastructure, and on-prem product roadmap for multi-cloud, multi-region, and government-compliant deployments. The role requires 8+ years of technical product experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and experience delivering products under regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities
- Run discovery with government and commercial customers to surface needs, build business cases, validate proposed solutions, and support business growth.
- Own the Cloud Platform & Infrastructure roadmap, converting recurring customer pain and opportunities into a prioritized, outcome-focused roadmap with clear user stories and success criteria.
- Define and deliver the roadmap for air-gapped and self-hosted Skydio On-Prem offerings.
- Lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, SRE, security, legal, and go-to-market teams.
- Own releases, onboarding materials, runbooks, launch artifacts, pilots, and rollouts while reducing deployment time and manual effort.
- Coordinate release planning, scope decisions, and communication of release tradeoffs to internal teams and customers.
- Track and route customer feedback and bug reports into the appropriate engineering backlogs.
- Translate FedRAMP, CJIS, and other regulatory requirements into product and operational requirements.
- Run compliance programs and coordinate auditors, vendors, security, legal, and engineering toward certification readiness.
- Evangelize platform capabilities, create internal playbooks and artifacts, and enable go-to-market teams to communicate platform value.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product experience shipping cloud platform, infrastructure, developer-facing, or adjacent technical products.
- Demonstrated success turning customer pain into a prioritized roadmap and driving cross-functional programs to completion.
- Experience shipping products under regulatory constraints, such as FedRAMP, CJIS, DoD RMF, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, or financial regulations.
- Ability to translate regulatory controls into product requirements and lead organizational workstreams to meet them.
- Track record of shipping platform features that improve reliability, scalability, security, or cost.
- Strong program management and stakeholder-influence skills, including alignment across engineering, security, legal, sales, and customers without formal authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing executives and external auditors.
- Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification within 60 days of starting employment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder due to export-control laws and government contract requirements; employment-based visa or permanent residency sponsorship is not available.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary: $230,000–$280,000.
