Senior Product Manager

Leads strategy, discovery, prototyping, delivery, and measurement for zero-to-one AI capabilities that automate critical-event response workflows. Requires senior product management experience, AI-native product expertise, strong systems thinking, and comfort partnering across Engineering, Design, and go-to-market teams.

Responsibilities

Customer and Market Understanding

  • Develop expertise in security, safety, business continuity, IT, and operations personas and their critical-event response workflows.
  • Conduct customer and prospect interviews, workflow walkthroughs, and feedback sessions to identify concrete problem statements.
  • Maintain a current view of customer problems, product opportunities, and longer-term needs.
  • Monitor industry trends, AI and automation developments, platform and integration changes, and competitors to inform the roadmap.

Strategy, Prioritization, and Roadmap

  • Own the roadmap for new AI capabilities, prioritizing initiatives and making explicit build, defer, and decline decisions.
  • Define strategy and positioning for a zero-to-one product area.
  • Balance business objectives, customer needs, and market trends when sequencing work.
  • Define problem spaces and jobs to be done for each initiative.

Development and Design

  • Partner with Engineering and Design to translate customer problems into specifications, acceptance criteria, and milestones.
  • Break initiatives into releasable increments that deliver early customer value.
  • Support delivery through grooming, scope decisions, testing, and launch readiness.

AI Prototyping and Measurement

  • Use Claude Code, Claude Design, Codex, and similar AI development and design tools to build and test prototypes.
  • Use prototypes to validate concepts and inform engineering investment.
  • Define success metrics including adoption, time saved, workflow completion, reliability, retention, and revenue contribution.
  • Analyze product usage and customer outcomes after launch and incorporate findings into prioritization.

Go-to-Market Enablement

  • Partner with Product Marketing to position capabilities, shape messaging, and enable Sales, Customer Success, and Support.
  • Translate functionality into practical customer narratives and applications.
  • Lead internal training, demos, and Q&A sessions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience, including end-to-end ownership of a product or major product area.
  • Experience taking a product or major capability from zero to one.
  • Experience with agentic or AI-native products, workflow automation, process orchestration, integration platforms, or similar technologies.
  • Working understanding of incorporating AI and LLM capabilities into products, including appropriate guardrails.
  • Systems mindset focused on workflows, dependencies, triggers, and process relationships.
  • Strong analytical judgment and decision-making with incomplete or conflicting information.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and product analytics software.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery, APIs, system integrations, and data pipelines.
  • Experience in critical event management, emergency communication, security, safety, or business continuity, or experience with teams operating in these areas.
  • Experience with product enablement or go-to-market support.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building trusted automation for high-stakes operational workflows.
  • Experience prototyping with AI development and design tools.

  • Strong preference for candidates in Austin, Texas; remote candidates based in the United States are also considered.
