Responsibilities
- Own daily, monthly, and annual financial close processes, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Design, implement, and scale financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements, including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Manage local, state, and federal tax filings and regulatory compliance.
- Support annual external audits or reviews.
- Evaluate, select, and implement modern financial technology stacks and automation tools, including ERP, expense management, and billing software.
- Partner with operations and department heads on initiatives and data needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced technology environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA license strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and modern startup ERP systems.
- Experience with Stripe, Ramp, and Excel.
- Adaptability and comfort working with ambiguity in a hands-on environment.

- Base salary range of $140,000–$170,000, based on seniority and relevant experience.
