Senior Product Designer, Consumer Revenue
Senior product designer for Discord’s Consumer Revenue team, owning paid-product experiences from strategy and discovery through experimentation, launch, and iteration. Responsibilities
- Embed within a Consumer Revenue squad and partner with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Research to own paid-product experiences from concept through experimentation, launch, and ongoing improvement.
- Connect consumer and business goals through clearly articulated design decisions in squad discussions, design reviews, project meetings, and leadership forums.
- Use experimentation, funnel data, and research insights to refine designs and inform ship/no-ship decisions.
- Deliver high-quality work across desktop and mobile, including documentation and interactive prototypes.
- Contribute to the Design System.
- Foster design excellence through critique, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years designing and shipping consumer products across desktop and mobile.
- Experience serving as design lead for multiple squads or end-to-end initiatives.
- Strong product thinking and ability to turn complex business requirements into simple, intuitive experiences.
- Experience using experiment data and user feedback to guide iterations and decisions.
- Mastery of visual and interaction design.
- Expert-level Figma and prototyping skills.
- Experience working within and contributing to a design system.
- Working understanding of and curiosity about AI-assisted design workflows, including ideation, prototyping, and generative UI.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building monetization products.
Compensation
- US base salary: $188,000–$211,500, plus equity and benefits.
