Senior Product Manager

Senior product leader owning insurance eligibility and benefits products across payer integrations, revenue cycle tooling, APIs, and client-facing capabilities. Requires 5+ years of product management, healthcare revenue cycle expertise, strong technical acumen, and customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product strategy for insurance capture, real-time and batch eligibility verification, benefits detail, and coverage discovery.
  • Improve the accuracy, speed, and completeness of eligibility responses and normalize inconsistent payer data into trusted benefit information.
  • Define scalable client consumption through APIs, configuration, and reporting.
  • Communicate roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, and timelines to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Advise senior leaders across Product, Services, Engineering, and Design.
  • Write product requirements and success metrics, and manage outcomes such as eligibility accuracy, eligibility issues at time of service, eligibility-driven denial rates, manual verification touches, and payer coverage and uptime.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including significant customer or client-facing experience.
  • At least 3 years in healthcare revenue cycle, payer operations, or health insurance technology.
  • Hands-on knowledge of eligibility and benefits workflows, including 270/271 exchanges.
  • Working knowledge of insurance capture, claims submission, denials, patient billing, and downstream effects of eligibility errors.
  • Experience building, communicating, and managing product roadmaps.
  • Strong technical acumen with APIs, data models, integration tradeoffs, and payer documentation.
  • Experience analyzing transactional data, troubleshooting anomalies, and validating hypotheses.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with virtual care, care delivery platforms, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience with clearinghouses or EDI transaction sets, including 270/271, 276/277, 837, and 835.
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial billing, and multi-state operations.
  • Experience with Healthie or comparable EMR platforms.
  • Experience applying AI or automation to verification workflows.
  • Experience in B2B2C or white-label product environments.
  • SQL proficiency.
