Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

Solve Real-World Enterprise Problems

• Debug and troubleshoot complex deployment and integration challenges across customer environments.
• Navigate ambiguity and adapt solutions to real-world operational and regulatory requirements.
• Learn and work across enterprise systems used in regulated industries.
• Balance technical excellence with pragmatism, reliability, security, and customer operational realities.

Deploy and Operationalize AI Systems

• Work directly with customer engineering and platform teams to deploy Dynamo AI products into enterprise environments.
• Design and implement integrations across enterprise AI workflows, APIs, infrastructure, and governance systems.
• Help customers operationalize AI guardrails, evaluations, observability, and monitoring capabilities in production.
• Support deployment architectures across cloud, hybrid, and enterprise environments.

Bridge Product, Engineering, and Customer Needs

• Translate customer deployment challenges into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.
• Surface deployment patterns and learnings that improve the platform and implementation playbooks.
• Work cross-functionally with research, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.
• Contribute to scalable deployment methodologies and technical best practices.
• Assist with building releases, executing deployments, and resolving SaaS platform issues when needed.

Partner Closely with Customers

• Work with engineering, infrastructure, security, risk, compliance, and operations stakeholders.
• Understand customer technical environments, operational requirements, and deployment constraints.
• Help customers navigate AI governance, evaluation, and approval workflows.
• Partner with customer success managers and forward deployed strategists to streamline deployment and operational processes.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience, especially with distributed systems, Kubernetes, APIs, platform engineering, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience debugging and operating production systems in customer-facing environments.
• Ability to navigate complex technical and organizational environments independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Enjoyment of direct customer engagement and practical engineering problem-solving.
• Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and infrastructure domains rapidly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with generative AI systems, LLM applications, AI infrastructure, or model deployment workflows.
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, government, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with enterprise security, governance, compliance, or risk management workflows.
• Experience with AI evaluation, guardrails, observability, or monitoring systems.
