Responsibilities
- Write and maintain clean, high-quality, efficient, and well-tested code aligned with project specifications.
- Architect and implement key abstractions bridging Software Engineering and DevOps.
- Proactively identify platform pain points and propose elegant solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering counterparts to build robust and reliable tooling.
- Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation for the platform.
- Leverage AI-assisted tooling and automation workflows to improve developer productivity, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance platform reliability and maintainability.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience building complex backend solutions in a SaaS environment.
- Expert skills in at least one modern backend programming language.
- Proficiency with relational and nonrelational databases.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native or cloud-hybrid solutions.
- Experience using AI-powered engineering tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to accelerate development workflows.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with Node.js, Go, TypeScript, React, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Experience developing tools to improve developer experience.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
