Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to refine and validate design concepts.
• Break complex features into distributable engineering tasks and rollout plans.
• Design and deliver frontend features affecting thousands of users.
• Experiment with and advocate for new systems, design patterns, and tooling.
• Use and contribute to an in-house design system.
• Own meaningful parts of the service, improve performance, and address scalability limits.
• Participate in hackathons, frontend demos, and engineering community events.

Requirements

• Several years of experience designing and engineering user interfaces.
• Strong mastery of the JavaScript ecosystem and current frontend technologies.
• Experience using design patterns to create simple, reusable components for complex user interfaces.
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, profiling, and optimization.
• Strong attention to code simplicity, performance, and detail.
• Experience using AI coding tools in day-to-day workflows, including validating, critiquing, and refining AI-generated output.
