Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications for a fantasy sports product.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React, TypeScript, and related libraries.
- Build fluid, responsive interfaces with a strong emphasis on animation and gesture interactions.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex performance, socket, data-caching, and related issues.
- Develop reusable UI components and implement a well-structured component hierarchy.
- Integrate front-end components with back-end services using RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Stay current with React advancements, web development best practices, and accessibility guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of web application development experience, with React as the primary framework.
- Experience building and owning a large-scale, consumer-facing application.
- Strong interaction-design skills, including depth in web animation and gesture work.
- Ability to own and develop large-scale products in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Active interest and participation in fantasy sports.
Compensation
- Salary range: $160,000–$220,000 USD.
- Benefits include medical, dental, paid time off, and 401(k).
