Senior Software Engineer II
The Senior Software Engineer II will build and operate integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and data contracts connecting Wrapbook with accounting, ERP, data, and AI ecosystems. The role requires strong data architecture and coding experience with Python, Rails, and modern integration tooling.

Responsibilities
- Design and build integrations, APIs, and data exchange systems connecting Wrapbook to accounting, ERP, third-party, and AI-enabled systems.
- Own integration pipelines and SLAs end-to-end, ensuring reliable data movement with clear expectations and metrics.
- Define and manage data contracts to protect downstream integrations and analytics from upstream changes.
- Contribute at the code level through code reviews, ticket execution, and ownership of critical customer data issues.
- Partner with product, design, research, business development, and go-to-market teams to build secure, compliant integration experiences.
- Influence engineering roadmaps and integrations best practices across the company.
- Provide technical direction through design reviews and pair programming.
- Establish observability for integrations and troubleshoot system health issues.
- Support iterative development and experimentation analysis.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for production integration systems.
Requirements
- Deep technical expertise building integrations, APIs, and data exchange systems.
- Experience designing and developing data-centric systems, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data architecture.
- Strong coding fluency and hands-on experience with modern data and integration tooling.
- Experience with Python and Ruby on Rails.
- High ownership, self-direction, and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Ability to design scalable architecture balancing performance, cost, and governance.
- Experience collaborating across product, data, compliance, and security teams.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants and building AI-enabled agents and MCP servers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with Scrum or Agile teams.

- Familiarity with data lakes, BI systems, and iPaaS platforms.
