Technical Program Manager, Finance Systems & Compliance
Leads cross-functional technical programs that modernize finance and revenue systems, support product and pricing launches, and embed auditable controls. Requires 5+ years in technical program management or finance transformation, strong quote-to-cash and record-to-report knowledge, hands-on ITGC and SOX experience, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Act as Finance’s technical counterpart for new product, pricing, and packaging launches across order capture, rating and billing, tax, revenue recognition, and downstream reporting.
- Own multi-quarter roadmaps for finance systems programs, including ERP, billing and subscription management, CPQ, revenue subledger, procurement, and reporting platforms.
- Lead cross-functional working groups across Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data, and Security, with clear ownership, prioritization, decision logs, risk escalation, and delivery metrics.
- Map end-to-end processes and data lineage; address reconciliation gaps, manual journal entries, spreadsheets, and competing sources of truth.
- Partner with Data Engineering on finance metric definitions and data contracts.
- Drive ITGC workstreams covering logical access, segregation of duties, change management, SDLC and CI/CD pipelines, job scheduling, and data interfaces.
- Partner with Internal Audit on control scoping, design, walkthroughs, testing, evidence, and remediation.
- Design controls into new systems, changes, and launches before go-live.
- Build AI-assisted workflows with defined tasks, output evaluation, human review gates for financial reporting, and reusable documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, business systems, finance transformation, or a related field, including substantial finance or revenue systems experience.
- Working fluency in finance operations, including quote-to-cash, record-to-report, and revenue recognition.
- Hands-on ITGC program experience across access, change management, and IT operations for financial systems.
- Practical SOX knowledge, including ITGC reliance, automated controls, system-generated reports, key controls, ITACs, remediation, and audit cycles.
- Experience using AI to draft requirements, synthesize status, triage intake, and assemble evidence packages.
- Track record of independently delivering technical programs such as system modernization, large-scale migration, ERP implementation, or billing platform implementation.
- Understanding of data lifecycle and analytics tooling.
- Experience leading change management for business systems.
- Ability to influence without authority and communicate with Director- and VP-level stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with enterprise billing, ERP, and revenue systems such as NetSuite or Stripe.
- Experience supporting IPO readiness or a first-year SOX program.
- CISA, CIA, or equivalent certification.
Compensation and benefits
