Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions.
- Participate in technical design sessions and develop solution documentation aligned with business objectives.
- Build, maintain, and document custom Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Develop and maintain Visualforce pages, Apex classes, triggers, workflows, and other Salesforce components.
- Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, and other Salesforce data structures.
- Customize and extend Salesforce using declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning App Builder.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
- Perform data migrations and data quality management tasks.
- Collaborate with administrators to ensure system stability, security, and scalability.
- Execute test plans and build automated test plans to ensure quality delivery.
- Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, and apply appropriate design patterns.
- Follow Salesforce and SpotOn best practices and maintain code documentation.
- Lead troubleshooting sessions and resolve development or implementation issues.
- Learn new Salesforce product and technical capabilities released through product updates and acquisitions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce solution development.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Order Management System, Lightning Web Components, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Experience.
- Salesforce configuration experience using point-and-click administration tools and understanding of object and data models.
- Extensive experience with APIs and system integrations, including Boomi and/or MuleSoft.
- Ability to perform automated testing and write unit tests.
- Experience using and managing CI/CD pipelines, including Gearset or Flosum.
- Excellent written and spoken English, at least B2 level.
- Experience working in small remote teams and with version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, Rally, or Agile Accelerator.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Self-starter focused on delivering high-quality work.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications after hire.
