About the role
Responsibilities
Own a pod of SDRs, including day-to-day coaching, 1:1s, and performance management.
Drive SQO volume and quality against monthly and quarterly targets.
Run weekly call reviews using Attention and turn effective practices into repeatable techniques.
Own ramping for new SDR hires by building shadowing plans and certifying representatives within their first 30 days.
Partner with AE leadership to improve SDR-to-AE handoffs and reduce stalled or disputed SQOs.
Build and iterate outbound sequences and messaging with Marketing as new segments and verticals open.
Report weekly on pipeline generation, SQO conversion, and representative-level performance to the VP of Sales.
Partner with other SDR Managers to maintain consistent coaching standards, tooling, and processes.
Requirements
2+ years managing an SDR or BDR team in B2B SaaS, ideally at a high-growth startup.
Track record of meeting or exceeding SQO or pipeline targets with a team of 5+ representatives.
Hands-on coaching style, including regular call-recording reviews and live coaching sessions.
Fluency with a modern sales stack, including a CRM, call-intelligence platform, and sequencing tools.
Ability to establish and enforce a clear qualification standard.
Experience hiring and ramping SDRs from scratch.
Comfortable independently pulling and presenting pipeline and conversion metrics.
In-office five days a week in Santa Barbara.
