Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery for the largest and most strategic enterprise accounts, including scoping engagements, sequencing delivery, removing blockers, and balancing scope, speed, and quality.
- Hire, develop, and retain a world-class team of Forward Deployed Engineers; establish hiring standards, onboarding, and career frameworks.
- Provide technical oversight across agents, models, evaluations, backend services, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with Forward Deployed, Product, and Platform teams to codify engagement patterns into reusable platform capabilities, playbooks, and building blocks.
- Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and translate ambiguous business problems into technical roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
- Set standards for reliability, security, observability, and evaluation across deployed agents.
- Translate field insights into actionable input for Product and Research, influencing model choices, platform features, and roadmap priorities.
- Operate with high autonomy, urgency, ownership, and sound judgment in ambiguous environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, including 3+ years leading high-performing customer-facing engineering teams.
- Strong engineering background with experience leading technical projects from prototype to production, reviewing architectures and code, and debugging production issues.
- Experience scaling technical delivery teams, including hiring, onboarding, operating standards, and senior engineering recruiting.
- Fluency with LLMs, agent systems, evaluation frameworks, backend and API design, data systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience deploying AI in complex enterprise environments involving security reviews, identity/SSO, data residency, legacy integrations, and compliance.
- Track record of turning customer engagement patterns into reusable tools, libraries, or platform features.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across Sales, Product, Engineering, Research, and Customer Success.
- Exceptional communication skills, including translating technical tradeoffs for executive and non-technical audiences.
