People & Talent Product Engineer

Build and own bespoke People & Talent products end to end, from user experience and technical specification through full-stack implementation and production delivery. The role requires 2–4 years of autonomous product or full-stack engineering experience, strong UI/UX judgment, and comfort handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full product-engineering lifecycle for People & Talent tools, from problem framing and experience design through technical build and delivery.
  • Make UI and UX decisions for employee and manager experiences.
  • Turn front-end prototypes into production-ready full-stack products, including back-end services, data models, and infrastructure.
  • Define user needs, delivery plans, technical architecture, and completion criteria before implementation.
  • Iterate on live tools using user feedback and product-development rigor.
  • Handle sensitive employee and compensation data in accordance with data-protection and security policies.
  • Partner with IT, Security, and core Engineering while operating with substantial autonomy.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience as a full-stack or product engineer.
  • End-to-end ownership of a tool or feature from specification through production.
  • Demonstrated UI/UX decision-making based on real user needs.
  • Experience operating as the primary or sole engineer on a project.
  • Full-stack development experience across front end and back end.
  • Experience with data models and infrastructure decisions, including hosting, access control, and monitoring.
  • Experience with sensitive or regulated data, or comfort working within data-protection and security constraints.
