Area Manager - New Grad

Launchpad operations leadership role for a recent graduate managing a fulfillment-center team, performance, safety, inventory accuracy, and process improvements. Requires a bachelor’s degree, demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and willingness to work any permanent shift in a physically demanding onsite environment.

Responsibilities

Coach, manage, and develop a team of 30–100 associates.
Communicate policies, maintain compliance and consistency, and take corrective action when needed.
Create, manage, and support recognition programs.
Support safety programs and OSHA compliance, building security, and product loss prevention.
Own performance reporting for receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, and packing quality.
Hold the team to SLA expectations and provide performance reports and action plans.
Troubleshoot fulfillment-related problems with cross-functional partners.
Escalate and mitigate operational risks and resolve issues.
Identify root causes of inventory-accuracy gaps and resolve them.
Review defect-rate trends and identify operational improvement opportunities.
Contribute learnings and best practices to standard operating procedures.
Prioritize systemic problem resolution with Growth and Engineering teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree completed within the last 12 months or expected within the next few months.
Demonstrated leadership experience through campus organizations, athletics, ROTC/military, student government, internships, or part-time or summer jobs.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new processes quickly.
Computer literacy, including Google Sheets or Excel.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative, personable, cross-functional working style.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work any permanent shift, including overnights, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, stand, and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
Ability to work in varying noise and temperature conditions and, where applicable, on a secure mezzanine up to 40 feet high.

Nice to Have

Coursework, internships, or part-time experience in warehousing, fulfillment, supply chain, or logistics.
Exposure to SQL or other reporting and data tools.
Experience collaborating with external partners or vendors.

Compensation and Benefits

US base salary range: $64,800–$89,100 USD.
Additional compensation and benefits may include bonus, equity, medical and dental coverage, and flexible time off.
