Responsibilities
- Build ClickHouse cloud's billing and metering platform, designing mission-critical processes.
- Deliver secure, efficient, mature, highly available frameworks and platforms that abstract infrastructure complexity.
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
- Integrate with various systems (Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, Support, etc.).
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience building front-end systems on the cloud.
- Hands-on experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with multiple engineers.
- Proficiency in Typescript, Serverless, EKS, SQS, Mongo, Node.js, React (proficiency in multiple languages preferred).
- Experience with billing concepts: credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure), invoicing, sales tax, auditing, record-keeping.
- Strong ownership building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software lifecycle.
- Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaaS offerings.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, production debugging skills; thrive in fast-paced environments.
