Responsibilities
- Design new and improved experiences across stripe.com, including product, industry, and solution landing pages.
- Collaborate with engineers, product marketers, and content designers to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver them.
- Maintain and evolve design systems and reusable component-based patterns.
- Balance storytelling with usability to create engaging, credible, and easy-to-navigate pages.
- Use user research, user testing, and data to guide and validate design decisions.
- Participate in critique and feedback sessions.
- Ensure designs demonstrate meticulous visual craft and quality.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant design experience, ideally in web or product marketing contexts.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, systems thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently scope and lead small- to medium-sized projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and interaction fundamentals.
- Proficiency with Figma and component-based systems.
- Experience with CMS-driven websites and modular systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with front-end development workflows and communicating with engineers.
- Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Experience designing for international or multilingual audiences.
- Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
