Market Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and implement tools and processes to support flawless execution of day-to-day responsibilities.
• Protect revenue by identifying and correcting process errors.
• Manage daily availability and market offers across capacity, operating reserves, and economic products. This may require working at night or on weekends during busy periods or new product launches.
• Manage requests and submissions for interval usage data across the customer lifecycle, including enrollment, performance calculations, and settlement.
• Ensure performance calculations are successful and timely for all products.

Requirements

• Able to begin work by 8 AM Central Time.
• 1–3 years of experience in an operational setting.
• Excellent quantitative skills, including business-applied Python.
• Self-starter who takes ownership beyond the immediate scope and drives problems to resolution.
• Ability to understand multifaceted situations and distill them into a clear, actionable strategy.
• Strong critical thinking and intellectual curiosity, with an interest in understanding the root causes of issues and approaching problems from first principles.
• Grit and willingness to put in the work when required.
• Empathetic and collaborative teammate who delivers feedback kindly and focuses on winning as a team.
