Inventory Controls & Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments by unboxing, inspecting, and reconciling deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders in Silkline.
• Log received parts into ION and maintain accurate quantities, locations, and records through cycle counts and audits.
• Develop and roll out inventory management and control processes in an iterative R&D environment.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom and warehouse through labeling, binning, and staging.
• Kit and stage materials for system builds in coordination with engineering and technician teams.
• Keep engineering and technician teams stocked and organized, including tools, hardware, and consumables.
• Apply basic 5S organization to shop and storage areas.
• Coordinate outbound and system logistics, including LTL/truck, FedEx, and UPS shipments.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and send systems and spare parts to job sites.
• Support international and export logistics for overseas projects, including deployment to Australia.
• Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to flag shortages, track incoming orders, and maintain material flow.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Strong organization and attention to detail when managing inventory records and physical stock.
• Ability to work on your feet in a warehouse environment, handle parts and equipment, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with inventory, ERP, or procurement software and spreadsheets.
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative approach.
• Based in or able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Ability to work 5 days per week from the San Leandro headquarters.

Nice to Have

• Forklift or telehandler operating experience; certification is a plus.
• Experience with outbound freight, shipping and receiving, or export/international logistics.
• Experience in a manufacturing, hardware, or robotics environment.
• Experience working at a fast-paced startup.
• Supply chain or purchasing coordination experience.
