Build and evolve scalable distributed-systems infrastructure for a platform that enables customers to deploy AI applications. The role requires 3+ years of distributed-systems or cloud-service experience and strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with research, product management, product engineering, product design, and other teams to implement and evolve the service.
- Design, build, and deliver well-tested core platform components.
- Shape architecture, code reviews, development practices, and developer experience as the team and product grow.
- Mentor fellow engineers and own project delivery and accountability.
- Develop technologies that enable deployment of AI applications at scale.
- Improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed-systems infrastructure.
Requirements
- Strong background building core components for high-scale compute and distributed data systems.
- 3+ years of experience building distributed systems and/or foundational cloud services at scale.
- Interest in working with Python, Go, and Java.
- Experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and performance-tuning software.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Experience maintaining distributed and/or highly concurrent software in large, long-lived codebases.
- Track record of identifying problems, implementing solutions, and delivering complex distributed-systems or database projects.
- Strong verbal and written technical communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong technical background and eagerness to learn.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with AI frameworks and tools.
