Senior Demand Strategy Lead, Experiences
Own the end-to-end demand strategy for Airbnb Experiences across lifecycle marketing, CRM, email, push, owned content, and guest referrals. The role requires 12+ years of growth or marketing experience, strong analytical and testing skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end guest lifecycle strategy for Experiences, from discovery and booking through post-experience engagement and repeat booking.
- Set the roadmap for email and push programs, including Tripcycle, home-abandoner sequences, transactional messaging, and Launchpad integration.
- Identify high-impact audience segments, messaging angles, and send cadences; build testing frameworks and automate high-performing sends.
- Set strategy for the Experiences newsletter and other owned content, including editorial calendars and content-to-conversion measurement.
- Partner with Brand, Creative, affiliates, and social teams to align owned content, social, and lifecycle programs.
- Define strategy and success criteria for the Experiences guest referral program; partner with Product on UX improvements and incentives.
- Track referral performance and iterate on incentive structures.
- Partner with Growth Marketing and Engineering to translate strategy into campaigns and automated workflows.
- Maintain execution visibility, reporting, and escalation cadence; influence Product roadmap prioritization.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in growth, lifecycle, CRM, email, or content marketing, ideally in a consumer marketplace or travel context.
- Experience owning channel or lifecycle strategy end to end and being accountable for business outcomes.
- Experience setting strategy executed by cross-functional partners, agencies, or a small team in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical skills, including measurement frameworks, A/B test interpretation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience building and scaling email and push automation programs.
- Editorial or owned-content judgment, including shaping content and messaging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strategy briefs and leadership presentations.
Nice to Have
- Two-sided marketplace or platform experience involving supply and demand levers.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and referral or incentive mechanics.
- Experience running a newsletter or editorial program with a measurable growth mandate.
Compensation
- Base salary: $204,000–$249,000 USD annually.
- May also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
