About the role
Key Responsibilities
Support IP and tax structure planning to maximize tax efficiency
Direct global tax compliance
Direct international quarterly and year-end accounting for income taxes (ASC 740); direct international tax provisions for foreign statutory financials
Execute the Company's global transfer pricing strategy and policy including monitoring controlled transactions, transfer prices and adjustments
Prepare and maintain intercompany agreements and allocations
Review the tax components of certain customer agreements
Review business initiatives to determine the tax impact
Direct corporate international tax research and interpretation
Manage international tax audits
Direct post-acquisition integrations
Work closely with Treasury in managing cash globally
Coordinate with outside tax consultants and contractors for various tax projects
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, MST or LLM (Taxation) preferred)
Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong compliance and planning experience in a multi-national, multi-entity environment including the areas of: BEAT, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, OECD Pillar Two, Check the Box Principles, U.S. Tax Treaty Research and Interpretation, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, and Transfer Pricing
Working knowledge of international taxation in Europe and Asia
Skills:
Understanding of SEC and GAAP reporting requirements
Significant project management skills required
Ability to navigate complex tax issues and provide strategic solutions
