Director, Strategic Finance

What You'll Do

• Be the Finance owner of expansion activities, particularly international expansion, identifying which expansionary activities are performing and assessing resource allocation.
• Provide effective steering to the business as it seeks to achieve its growth goals.
• Dive deep into areas of our business and figure out where we can set aggressive targets, and then work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives around those recommendations.
• Facilitate collaboration across departments including operations, engineering, and product to drive strategic projects and external engagements. Be an advocate and stakeholder for the Finance team in those rooms.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and devise scalable solutions to enhance business performance and market positioning.
• Utilize advanced data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in finance, private equity or related fields, preferably in high-growth startups.
• Proven ability to creatively solve complex problems in the face of ambiguity.
• Comfortable with being in the weeds and diving deep into the business, and also operating strategically.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering impactful projects.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and making data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
• Desire for a broad scope of responsibilities, spanning various aspects of the business including operations, finance, and marketing.
• Demonstrated bias for action and a relentless pursuit of results. Not afraid to have backbone or suggest new ideas to more senior leaders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
