About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own points experimentation economics end to end, partnering with Product and Data Science on points-related tests from pre-launch cost modeling through post-launch results readouts.
  • Define the financial framework for sizing, prioritizing, and evaluating points-based experiments using incremental user behavior, points cost, downstream monetization, retention, and ROI.
  • Deliver points forecasts and budget-versus-actual commentary explaining variance drivers to leadership and finance stakeholders.
  • Own the points economics narrative for leadership, including MBRs, Monthly Collective Reviews, annual planning, board materials, and executive forums.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on points economics, investment performance, and the health of the points economy.
  • Drive points investment allocation across Product and Technology organizations, recommending where to increase, reduce, or reallocate spend.
  • Build ad hoc points economics analyses for investor materials, board questions, and leadership decision-making.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, StratOps, or related finance roles.
  • Significant experience supporting experimentation in a high-growth technology or AdTech environment.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes, frameworks, and operating rhythms from the ground up.
  • Ability to influence senior Product and R&D leaders and translate complex analytics into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence.
  • Advanced proficiency with financial planning tools, BI platforms, SQL, Eppo, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and understanding of user growth engines.

Nice-to-haves
