Senior Payroll Manager, APAC
Manages end-to-end international payroll operations across APAC, ensuring accurate processing, regulatory compliance, provider management, and payroll accounting. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of payroll experience, including substantial international payroll experience.

Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle payroll processing for APAC international entities, including India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Singapore.
- Support expansion of payroll operations to new countries.
- Support month-end payroll-related accounting tasks and questions.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and employment laws across jurisdictions.
- Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers.
- Respond to employee inquiries about international payroll matters.
- Partner with the equity team to process stock options.
- Resolve international tax notices from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with People, Tax, Global Mobility, Finance, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Prepare international payroll reports and analytics for management review.
- Support payroll systems integration and process automation initiatives.
- Process end-to-end payroll using Workday and the Global Payroll Platform (PwC).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- 10+ years of payroll operations experience, including at least 5 years in international payroll.
- Experience processing regular, off-cycle, severance, taxable benefits, and equity compensation.
- Strong knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Experience with Workday HRIS and global payroll providers, such as the PwC Global Payroll Platform.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

- Knowledge of European employment law and tax regulations.
- Experience with payroll systems implementations.
- Familiarity with Workday or other major HRIS platforms.
