Build and own high-performance editor interfaces for visualizing and annotating multimodal AI data, including complex 3D/4D browser scenes. Responsibilities
- Build and own complex UI and editor interfaces for visualising and annotating multi-modal data.
- Render high-performance 3D/4D scenes with thousands of objects in the browser.
- Work across the full stack when needed, from backend services to deployment and styling.
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects, from product and architectural decisions through deployment, monitoring, and measuring user impact.
- Collaborate with a lean, high-trust team to tackle challenging problems.
- Take initiative, proactively solve problems, and continuously seek improvements.
Requirements
- Strong frontend engineering experience with production-grade work on complex, high-performance UIs.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React.
- Experience personally developing and maintaining multiple systems from scratch.
- Ability to make trade-offs when building reliable, performant software at speed.
- Comfort moving across the stack and learning new skills quickly.
- Ability to tackle ambiguous problems autonomously and make decisions without predefined solutions.
- Commitment to contributing high-quality work and helping teammates improve.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with 3D rendering, WebGL, Canvas, or similar browser-based visualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Python and backend development.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud.
