Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Design to build and execute a long-term roadmap.
- Work with cross-functional partners and engineering teams to expand the application of AI to creative problems.
- Hire, manage, support, and develop a team of engineers, including staff-level engineers.
- Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment with other organizational leaders.
- Help shape the growth of the Weave engineering organization as it scales.
- Build an inclusive team culture through hiring practices, mentorship, and cross-team community programs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager.
- Ability to think strategically about engineering and product roadmaps across short- and long-term time horizons.
- Hands-on technical experience building complex products and systems as an individual contributor.
- Ability to represent the technical details of work shipped by a managed team.
- Proven leadership in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team.
- Track record of motivating, mentoring, and guiding senior engineers.
- Experience hiring top industry talent.
- Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Design, and Marketing and collaborate with engineering teams to ship customer-facing and internal projects.
