Senior GL Accountant
Performs general ledger accounting, reconciliations, close activities, financial analysis, reporting support, and finance-system testing. Requires a CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification, at least four years of experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with finance systems.

Responsibilities
- Prepare reconciliations, roll-forwards, account analyses, and month-end journal entries for general ledger accounts, including benefits and insurance allocations, payroll and 401K accruals, cash, accrued publisher and affiliate fees, prepaids, and leases.
- Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Help implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Support independent auditors with audited financial statements.
- Manage and analyze large data volumes in Microsoft Excel using internal systems and the general ledger.
- Assist with external financial reporting.
- Support special projects, ad hoc reporting, and analysis requests.
- Assist with implementation and testing of finance systems, including user acceptance testing documentation.
Requirements
- Qualified CA, CPA, or equivalent accounting degree; Big Four experience or a Big Four/private mix preferred.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge and application of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Willingness and ability to work shift hours aligned with U.S. working hours during critical close periods.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, analytical, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Clear communication of technical and operational issues.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and formal presentation skills.
- Experience working in an international business environment.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Coupa, FloQast, and Tableau or equivalent systems.
