Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for global Accounts Payable, vendor disbursements, expense management, and credit card reconciliations.
- Manage and mentor the AP team; establish KPIs, performance benchmarks, and development plans.
- Oversee AP month-end close, including sub-ledger-to-GL reconciliations, expense accruals, and balance sheet flux analysis.
- Standardize end-to-end operating procedures and maintain process documentation across entities.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requirements, including audit requests and PBC schedules.
- Partner with Procurement, FP&A, Legal, and Tax to improve purchase-to-pay workflows and vendor onboarding.
- Resolve complex vendor escalations and internal payment queries.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience, including at least 5 years managing AP managers in a large US multinational.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong proficiency with enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle, Workday, or Navan.
- Knowledge of US operations, US GAAP, SOX controls, multi-currency disbursements, and international tax compliance.
- Strong team management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience managing high-volume US vendor portfolios and 1099 compliance/withholding.
- Experience leading automation or RPA initiatives in a global SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of US and international tax and statutory requirements, including GST and TDS.
