Responsibilities
- Align partnership initiatives with product strategy and drive integrations that increase platform stickiness.
- Manage external partner relationships and influence partner-side development, policy exceptions, and integration capabilities.
- Prioritize partnerships that increase partner-attached ARR, expand distribution, improve retention, and optimize gross margins.
- Define and measure partnership value through adoption, co-selling, financial, and health metrics.
- Establish data-sharing protocols, audit mechanisms, zero-trust security frameworks, granular access controls, and governance across integrations.
- Lead product discovery and solution design with clients, partners, design, engineering, and product teams, from workflow concepts through implementation.
- Coordinate Legal, Information Security, Compliance, Commercial, Finance, and go-to-market stakeholders on risk assessment and deal structuring.
- Create scalable partnership standards, processes, engagement models, and onboarding pathways.
- Help develop developer portals, sandbox environments, API and SDK documentation, and partner-platform onboarding experiences.
- Serve as the primary technical and strategic interface for external partner product and engineering leaders.
- Scan financial services, wealth technology, and fintech markets for emerging technologies and co-innovation opportunities.
- Advise product managers on build-versus-buy decisions, integration feasibility, and ecosystem dependencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, financial technology, wealth management, banking software, or complex enterprise API platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern web architectures, RESTful APIs, webhooks, data schemas, OAuth, SOC 2, and developer ecosystem tooling.
- Familiarity with financial data privacy regulations, data sovereignty requirements, and secure entitlement frameworks.
- Experience coordinating Legal, Security, Finance, and go-to-market teams and negotiating commercial and technical structures with external partners.
- Deep knowledge of financial services ecosystems, including core banking, ledger systems, custodians, market data vendors, and KYC/AML platforms.
- Ability to evaluate build, buy, and partner strategies using data-driven frameworks and executive-level product and commercial goals.
Performance Metrics
- Partner-driven ARR growth, deal attachment rates, and ecosystem customer retention.
- Zero data exposure or leakage incidents and adherence to native platform UX standards.
- Reduced time from partner execution to live integration.
- API throughput, monthly active users on partner connectors, and technical uptime and reliability.
