About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-powered features into Hex, partnering with Research team on context and model prompting.
  • Integrate AI features into the platform with product engineering teams.
  • Own scalable agent infrastructure for data agents.
  • Develop cutting-edge experimentation tooling for rapid AI feature delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with React and Typescript, plus architecture and systems design knowledge.
  • Experience leading and executing major product initiatives.
  • Excitement for browser internals to build high-quality, performant user experiences.
  • Aptitude for web infrastructure to develop internal developer and external user experiences.
  • Strategic thinking, aligning with business/product goals, balancing velocity and engineering excellence.
  • Interest in data space, shipping great products, empowering end users.
  • Maintain high quality bar for design, correctness, and testing.
  • Lead product initiatives while collaborating and mentoring engineers.
  • Curiosity about building a company (go-to-market, customer development, people, marketing).

Compensation

  • Salary range: $160,000 - $270,000 (may reflect location, skills, experience).
