Product Manager, Funds
Own strategy and roadmap for Full Service and Scout Funds products, driving automation of fund operations and increasing AUM, formations, and retention. Requires 4+ years PM experience in fintech or complex B2B domains plus strong VC domain knowledge.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Full Service (flagship product for emerging managers) and Scout Funds

- Talk to GPs constantly (from solo managers raising their first fund to senior partners at large firms) and turn insights into a sharp product point of view
- Grow fund formations, AUM, and retention by building a frictionless product
- Write product requirements that turn messy customer and operational realities into work engineering and design can ship
- Partner with sales, solutions, and operations to support existing managers and win new ones
Requirements
- 4+ years of PM experience, ideally in fintech, B2B SaaS, or another operationally complex domain
- Domain passion: deep engagement with the VC ecosystem and a real POV on where it's going; fluent in fund mechanics (capital calls, distributions, NAV, K-1s) or ready to get there fast
- AI fluency: actively builds with AI tools and sees automating fund operations as a compelling product problem
- Ownership: closes the gap between formal PM scope and whatever needs to happen for the product to win
- Customer-centric execution: growth-oriented, ships and iterates quickly, treats customer feedback as a primary input
- Sharp communication and range: precise writer who turns edge cases into shippable requirements; can hold their own with senior leaders at established firms and do hands-on execution
