Leads Vanta’s EMEA Solutions Engineering team across Growth and Commercial segments, developing eight SEs and evolving the technical sales motion toward consultative, value-based engagements. Requires 7+ years of pre-sales experience, including 3–5 years managing Solutions Engineers, plus EMEA market and AI tooling fluency.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of eight Solutions Engineers across the Growth and Commercial segments in EMEA.
- Establish a coaching cadence that elevates individual performance and team craft.
- Evolve the Solutions Engineering motion from repeatable demos toward consultative, value-based engagement where appropriate while maintaining speed and volume when suitable.
- Define and iterate playbooks for discovery, demo quality, and proof-of-concept approaches.
- Strengthen the partnership between Solutions Engineers and Account Executives across EMEA.
- Coach Solutions Engineers to act as trusted technical advisors.
- Lead AI adoption and modern tooling across the team, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and building responsible team processes around AI.
- Track technical win rates, deal attachment, pipeline influence, and team capacity; provide leadership visibility into performance and investment priorities.
- Partner with recruiting to define hiring profiles, participate in interviews, and onboard new hires.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of Solutions Engineering management experience.
- 7+ years of total pre-sales or Solutions Engineering experience.
- Experience managing Solutions Engineering teams, including one-on-ones, performance conversations, hiring, and team dynamics.
- Experience shifting from a volume-based Solutions Engineering motion to a consultative, value-based approach.
- Hands-on AI and modern tooling fluency, including experience building team processes around AI tools.
- EMEA market experience and understanding of its linguistic, geographic, regulatory, GRC, compliance, and buyer diversity.
- Experience with GRC, compliance, or security SaaS.
- Experience at a growth-stage B2B SaaS company building processes without mature organizational infrastructure.
- Based in London and comfortable working in a hybrid model three days per week in the office.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly.
