About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery to uncover business and technical objectives, set expectations, and define success criteria.
  • Design, build, and present Supabase platform demonstrations to high-value customers.
  • Work with Growth team to size deals, provide usage estimates, and identify workloads.
  • Collaborate on proof-of-value scope, timelines, outcomes, and success criteria.
  • Guide customers through onboarding using emails, docs, guides, and webinars.
  • Build account plans understanding immediate onboarding and long-term optimization opportunities.
  • Deliver engagements including architecture assessments, database design, performance optimization, and proactive support.
  • Act as internal champion, providing feedback to Support, Product, and Engineering, and communicating roadmaps.
  • Build trust-based relationships with customers.

Requirements

Preferred Experience

  • 6+ years in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or similar.
  • Strong background with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Background in web application development with Python, C#, JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte), and Node.js.
  • Very strong communication skills for translating business needs to technical outcomes.
  • Well-organized storyteller with interpersonal skills to navigate stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management, business analysis, and revenue operations tools (HubSpot, BigQuery).
  • Previous experience leading customer-facing engagements for technical and business value.
