About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive critical projects and technical strategy for Salesforce CRM and related systems.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure solutions integrated with enterprise systems.
  • Spearhead process automation and data integration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and executives across Marketing, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering.
  • Mentor and develop engineers while promoting strong coding, design, and architecture practices.
  • Address complex technical challenges involving reliability, performance, scalability, and system resilience.
  • Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and internal policies.
  • Share Salesforce technology best practices through the broader technology community.
  • Own the Salesforce ecosystem, driving enhancements and serving as the primary contact for high-stakes projects and critical issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex, scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of billing, revenue recognition, and order management processes.
  • Ability to evaluate solutions based on cloud costs, performance, and business objectives.
  • Experience setting and executing strategic technical visions for Salesforce implementations and integrations.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams, including geographically dispersed teams.
  • Expertise integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and iPaaS solutions.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and managing data flows across platforms.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks and addressing data security, privacy, retention, and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
  • Experience solving high-volume data processing, performance, scalability, and integration challenges.
  • Salesforce Developer I and Salesforce Developer II certifications required.
  • In-depth Agile knowledge and experience leading Agile teams.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools for development, testing, and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently amid shifting priorities, ambiguity, and evolving scope.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
