Technical Support Engineer - EMEA

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical, business, and data issues for customers and the pre-sales team.
• Work with the development team to create best practices and tools for diagnosing issues and optimizing service performance.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, DevOps, design, product, and go-to-market teams to improve the user experience.
• Build scalable issue-resolution processes, document common resolution patterns, and develop diagnostic tooling.
• Coordinate issue triage, diagnosis, and resolution across multiple departments.

Requirements

• Industry experience supporting enterprise products for data analytics.
• Computer Science fundamentals and strong expertise in databases and business intelligence.
• Proficiency in SQL, including joins, partitions, window functions, aggregations, common table expressions, and subqueries.
• Understanding of SQL query performance troubleshooting and query plan generation.
• Proficiency in data modeling concepts.
• Ability to chart data into logical visualizations.
• Track record of building customer trust and resolving issues quickly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and desire to be a supportive teammate.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience supporting a cloud service in production.
• Experience with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud or AWS.
