Technical Support Engineer - EMEA
Provides technical support for enterprise analytics customers by diagnosing SQL, database, and data-platform issues, coordinating resolutions with engineering and product teams, and developing scalable troubleshooting processes and tools.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical, business, and data issues for customers and the pre-sales team.
- Work with the development team to create best practices and tools for diagnosing issues and optimizing service performance.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, DevOps, design, product, and go-to-market teams to improve the user experience.
- Build scalable issue-resolution processes, document common resolution patterns, and develop diagnostic tooling.
- Coordinate issue triage, diagnosis, and resolution across multiple departments.
Requirements
- Industry experience supporting enterprise products for data analytics.
- Computer Science fundamentals and strong expertise in databases and business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL, including joins, partitions, window functions, aggregations, common table expressions, and subqueries.
- Understanding of SQL query performance troubleshooting and query plan generation.
- Proficiency in data modeling concepts.
- Ability to chart data into logical visualizations.
- Track record of building customer trust and resolving issues quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and desire to be a supportive teammate.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience supporting a cloud service in production.
- Experience with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or BigQuery.
