Senior Design Engineer, Embedded Agreements
Designs and ships developer-facing API and integration experiences, including AI-native surfaces and production React components. The role requires strong product design and front-end engineering skills, fluency in React and TypeScript, and comfort shaping a new function from zero.

Responsibilities
- Own the design of PandaDoc's API and integrations areas end to end, including developer-facing API surfaces, documentation experiences, and in-product connection flows.
- Partner with product and research to shape strategy for API and integration surfaces as audiences and market expectations evolve.
- Design and prototype AI-native API patterns, including the ChatGPT app, Claude connector, and MCP integration.
- Shape the experience of CRM integrations such as Salesforce and HubSpot for agentic workflows.
- Balance integrations built by PandaDoc with customer-orchestrated connections through surfaces such as Claude and MCP.
- Prototype concepts in code and turn them into production-grade React components, owning layout, interaction, accessibility, and performance.
- Establish and develop the Design Engineer function as its first hire.
- Bring technical perspective to the design process, share patterns, pair on prototypes, and help designers improve their technical skills.
- Work AI-first with Cursor and Claude Code.
Requirements
- Strong experience across design and front-end engineering, with shipped interfaces or widely used components.
- Fluency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
- Comfort working close to API surfaces and developer tooling.
- Genuine interest in developer experience and API design.
- Active, opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code, with a clear approach to achieving production-quality output.
- Ability to build from zero, set direction without an established template, and partner with product on market direction.

Compensation and Benefits
- For candidates based in Poland: 31,000–40,000 PLN per month.
